| For whatever reason, I got inspired to look back over many of the entries that I had posted over the past few years. Wow. Um, it's just really hard to comprehend how completely COMPLETELY different my life was then. I mean, seriously, it might as well have been a previous life or something. Weird. I enjoyed my little trip down memory lane, but also saddened at how I haven't kept in touch with anyone. I mean, ANYONE. In college, we used xanga to keep in touch with friends around the state AND still saw them at least once a month. Now that I don't ever see anyone, we don't use xanga to keep in touch. hum. What's up with that? I read some lost long friends' recent entries and have realized that almost everyone is married now. Again...weird!!! I don't have a clue who 90% of my friends' spouses are. That makes me sad. Now that I'm married and not in school, I can't make myself sit here in front of the computer for more than 5 minutes. Hence, no xanga activity. However, John left this morning at 6 a.m. to take his senior high youth to Lee University to Student Life Camp, so that means I'll be pretty bored for the next few days. He will be back Saturday night, and then Sunday morning, we will drive up to Bastrop/Mer Rouge and spend a week at King's Camp where he will be the camp pastor. Ok...I'm tired of sitting here. I guess I'll go back to cross-stitching... |
